Robert Petrowsky is our newest corporate attorney. He focuses on a variety of corporate legal issues, including entity formation, securities, private equity and capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, business transactions, and international data privacy. Prior to joining Polaris Law Group, Robert was an extern at Alexius, LLC where he focused on a variety of business issues, and at TeleTech where he assisted with acquisitions, international contracts, and data privacy, including the legal review to bring the company into compliance with the new European General Data Protection Regulation. He has also served as a law clerk at Shapiro Barber Bieging Otteson, where he assisted with securities issues in large mergers.
Robert earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his B.S. in Business Management from Colorado State University Global Campus. In addition, he has a Corporate and Commercial Law Certificate. During law school, Robert served as both the Symposium and Business Editor for the Water Law Review. He is currently pursuing an Executive LL.M. in Taxation and an International Taxation Certificate from Georgetown University Law Center.
Prior to moving to Colorado, Robert worked on and helped manage his family’s corn farm in south-central Kansas. While there, he learned a great deal about managing a complex business and fully understands the myriad issues and time constraints that small and mid-sized businesses face. After moving to Colorado, he spent ten years as a 911 dispatcher in Vail, where he held a variety of supervisory roles and was an active member of a regional incident management team. Robert takes every chance he gets to return to the mountains to climb, fish, and hike with his wife and young children, and ski 14ers.
